Presence | On-Demand Caregiver Marketplace Flutter App With Laravel Backend

Presence is a production ready platform that connects families with verified in home caregivers, and pays everyone safely through escrow. It ships as one package: a Flutter mobile app for families and caregivers, a Laravel backend with a REST API, a Filament operator admin panel, and a marketing website. Families post a care request and book a trusted caregiver in a few taps; caregivers accept work, clock in at the care address, deliver care and get paid; you, the operator, run verification, disputes, payments and payouts from the admin.

Everything you need, in one package

• Flutter app (iOS and Android) with two roles in one binary: family and caregiver.

Built in trust and safety

• Honest verification levels (ID verified, document reviewed, third party background check). Presence never shows a blanket “verified” badge: families always see exactly how a caregiver was vetted.
• Geofenced clock in and clock out for real, timestamped proof of attendance, with off location visits flagged for review.
• Escrow payments. Funds are held when a booking is paid and only released to the caregiver after a clean, completed, undisputed visit.
• Server computed trust score from completed visits, on time rate, reviews and verification level. It is an audit value the operator can inspect.
• Disputes hold escrow until an admin resolves them in the family’s or the caregiver’s favor.

For families

• Browse nearby caregivers with trust scores, rates and specialties, or post a request and let caregivers come to you.
• Pay securely into escrow, follow the visit timeline, and message your caregiver in real time.
• Review completed care, raise a dispute if something is wrong, and manage everything from a clean account area.

For caregivers

• See open requests nearby, accept the ones that fit, and build a verified profile that families trust.
• Clock in and out on site, chat with the family, and track earnings and payouts.
• Upload credentials, request payouts, and connect a bank account or payout provider.

For the operator (admin)

• Review the verification queue, approve identity, and manage renewal due credentials.
• Oversee care requests, bookings, payments, payouts and disputes, with escrow status on every payment.
• Broadcast an announcement by push, email and in app to everyone, a role, or specific people.
• Configure commission, geofence radius, branding and more from a platform settings page.

Payments, notifications and reach

• Payments and payouts through Stripe and Paystack, with a built in manual mode for demos. Money is stored in integer cents with a clean commission split.
• Real time chat, push notifications, email, and an admin broadcast tool.
• Email OTP registration and a forgot and reset password flow.
• Seven languages with full right to left support (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Tagalog, Mandarin, Arabic).

Technology

A Flutter mobile app talks to a Laravel backend with a Filament admin, backed by MySQL. The app is offline first for demos and switches to the live API with a single build flag. Clean architecture, real tests, and honest “no fake success” providers throughout, so real payment, mail and push services drop in behind config without touching the app.
