Suretly | Construction Bid Bond and Compliance Tracker Laravel Script With Flutter App

A contractor bidding on public work carries two obligations that have nothing to do with building anything: the bonds that secure each bid, and the certificates that prove the company is allowed to hold the contract. Both expire. Both are usually tracked in a spreadsheet, and the spreadsheet is what lets a general liability certificate lapse three days before a bid opening.

Suretly is a self-hosted Laravel application that replaces that spreadsheet. It tracks projects and bids, the bid, performance, payment and maintenance bonds attached to them, the aggregate bonding capacity those bonds consume, and every compliance document with an expiry date on it. It tells you what is falling due before it falls due.

Both demo accounts are deliberately read only, so the demo still looks the way it is supposed to when you get to it. This is a feature of the product, not a restriction on the demo: any account can be flagged read only from the console, which is how you would hand a surety agent or an auditor a look at the book without handing over the keys.

Two front doors, and they are not the same door

The workspace at /dashboard is the product: projects, bonds, the document vault, what is falling due. All four roles work there, every day. The admin console at /admin configures the installation: branding, legal pages, integrations, licensing and the team. Owners and administrators only. The public site links the two separately with the right login beside each, because sending an estimator to the console gets them a refusal instead of the product.

Android app

An installable Android build is on the demo site. Open the demo, scroll to the foot of the page and use the Download for Android button, then sign in with either account above. iOS runs from the included source.

The demo is seeded with a working heavy civil contractor: seventeen projects, ten bonds, seventeen compliance documents, and a bid closing in two days with no bond against it yet, so the alerting is visible without having to wait for anything to expire.

What it does

Projects and bids

Every job from invitation through bidding, submitted, awarded, in progress and closed. Bid due dates, estimated value, your own bid, the obligee, the estimator who owns it. Win rate is computed from decided bids, not from your memory of them.

Bonds

Bid, performance, payment and maintenance bonds, each against a project and a surety, with penal sum, effective and expiry dates, and status. A bond nearing expiry is flagged in the same place as everything else that is nearing expiry.

Bonding capacity

Your aggregate line is finite. Suretly totals committed exposure against it, shows the percentage consumed, and warns before you commit to a job you have no capacity to bond. This is the number a surety agent asks for and the one most contractors have to reconstruct by hand.
