Flutbrow | Flutter App AI Browser, News and VPN With Laravel Admin Panel

AI Browser is a cross-platform Flutter mobile application (iOS & Android) that replaces four apps with one: a fast tabbed web browser with an ad and tracker blocker, an AI that answers questions in the address bar and shows you where each answer came from, a personalised news feed, and a built-in VPN. It ships with a production-ready Laravel admin panel that runs all of it.

The app opens on a start page you can edit like a home screen — wallpaper, weather, speed dial tiles and a news feed built from the topics chosen during onboarding. One field at the top takes a URL, a search or a question. Ask it a question and the answer arrives with numbered sources you can open in an ordinary tab. Tabs come in two kinds that never mix: normal ones, and private ones that save nothing on the phone.

AI-assisted development. This item was developed with AI assistance. The source code of the Flutter app and the Laravel admin panel, and the documentation, were written with the help of Claude Code using Anthropic’s Claude Opus 5 model. Our team reviewed the output and maintains and supports the item.

AI as a feature. The app’s headline functionality also relies on a third-party generative AI service at runtime:

• Ask AI (Search mode): powered by Google Gemini — answers a question from live web results and lists the sources it used.
• Ask AI (Chat mode): powered by Google Gemini — a plain conversational reply for follow-up questions.
• Page tools: powered by Google Gemini — summarise, translate, or answer a question about the page the user is currently reading.

Everything the assistant writes is AI-generated and may be wrong. To use the AI features you must create your own Google Gemini (Google AI Studio) account and supply your own API key.
