How to Play
Objective: Be the first player to reduce your opponent’s HP to zero by breaking cars through their defense line.
Building Your Cars: Tap any of the 5 lanes to deploy a car once one is ready — Tiny, Small, Medium, or Large. Bigger cars take longer to build but hit harder and survive tougher crashes.
Crashing Into Rivals: Your cars drive forward automatically. When two cars meet head-on, the heavier one wins and keeps driving (its weight is reduced by the loser’s), the lighter one is destroyed instantly, and two cars of equal weight destroy each other.
Breaking Through: Any car that survives all the way to your opponent’s line chips their HP by an amount equal to that car’s weight, then disappears.
Winning: The moment either player’s HP reaches zero, the match ends immediately and the winner is announced. Tap the Restart button to jump straight into a new match.
Online Mode: Tap Host to create a room or Join to enter one — matchmaking is automatic, no room code needed. Invite a friend and enjoy real-time multiplayer battles with car positions, production, collisions, and HP synchronized between both devices.
Note: Online Multiplayer and room hosting are built on Construct 3’s built-in Multiplayer plugin. Gameplay information such as car positions, collisions, production state, and HP is synchronized between the two players using WebRTC DataChannels. No gameplay data is stored on a game server.
A lightweight signalling server is used only at the beginning of a match to help the Host and Joining player find and connect to each other. By default, this project uses Construct’s own free public signalling server (wss://multiplayer.construct.net), so Online Multiplayer works out of the box without requiring Node.js, Socket.io, Firebase, or additional server-side setup.
If you prefer to self-host your own signalling server for greater control, Construct/Scirra provides an open-source reference implementation that runs as a small Node.js + WebSocket (wss://) service. This is entirely optional, is not included with this template, and would require your own server/VPS and SSL certificate, which may involve additional hosting costs.
