The invoice is not a form that produces a document — it is the document. Letterhead, who it is for, the dates, the line table, the totals, the footer: touch any block and a sheet slides up carrying only that block’s fields. The read-only view and the PDF are the same widget and the same layout.

Edit the paper, watch the total

Add a line from the catalog and the subtotal, the tax and the total all move at once. Quantities carry three decimal places, so 1.25 hours is 1.25 hours rather than something close to it.
